Thanks for your kind words about my professional work. I do remote shoots occasionally now though. Have I told you about these before? I meet up with a model online from around the world, and thanks to modern technology, I can control her camera through my computer with the camera app or Capture One. We use something like Zoom to chat. Some of these models use professional setups (pro cameras, lighting, studio booking, etc.), so the results are just as good as you would get from in-person shooting. It’s been a great experience. The process is slower but the results can be excellent. Plus, it’s a great way to network, and shoot in various locations around the world. Ever since I started publishing some images that I took with this new 7artisans 35mm f0.95 lens, the predominant question from a lot of people has been: “How does it compare to the Mitakon 35mm f/0.95 mk2?”One final thing to note regarding the build quality is that the this lens will mount onto your X-Pro3 without ruining your lens mount release button like some of the early Viltrox lenses did. The mounting-ring itself is made from a gorgeous shiny graphite colour that again just oozes quality! Specifications If I was looking for more regular use, I think I'd go with the Mitakon for that uber shallow depth of field and/or superior low light performance. They did start together though. There was a group of rich Chinese hobbyists that decided to get together and form a company to make lenses but there was a falling out between a few of the main guys and a split off. The original group became 7artisans and the splinter group TTartisan. It's not publicly known what the issues were but it is generally agreed that money wasn't one of them. BTW sorry to hear your professional work is suffering because of omicron. I managed to get in a final cut from my stlist of 35 years, but obviously your clients can’t be masked for the kibd of effect they want!

35mm f/0.95 APS-C lens for E/EOS-M/FX/M43/Z/EOS-R 35mm f/0.95 APS-C lens for E/EOS-M/FX/M43/Z/EOS-R

Corners are little bit lagging behind and you need to close down to F2.8 to start having good results This is also an area where this lens has an advantage over the Mitakon 35mm f/0.95 mk2. The latter uses a 55 mm filter thread and is slightly bigger in overall size. This is actually quite impressive since I was already very impressed with the size of the Mitakon. A lot of my cheaper manuel focus aftermarket lenses are quite soft when shot wide open, but not this one. The Mitakon is maybe a tiny bit better wide at aperture

7Artisans 35mm F0.95 Review and Images - DustinAbbott.net

To me this trait isn’t necessarily the most important trait of a lens like the 7artisans 35mm f/0.95. I use these lenses for creative output, and I tend to use whatever shortcomings they might have to my advantage. But a lot of the flaws that you usually see in this type of lens is simply not present in the 7artisans 35mm f/0.95! This especially applies to sharpness. Bokeh for both looks similar; good at close distances, but at some mid-distances can look a bit busy.. Based on my subject matter and my shooting style, I would need a fast and sharp 35mm lens. All three lenses are fast enough for me. The 7artisans does not seem to be sharp enough for me when shot wide open. The aperture construction is made from no less than 12 blades. They’re rounded and ensure a completely circular lens opening right from f/0.95 all the way down to f/16. It’s not all that common to find 12 blade aperture lenses these days. A very cool choice. In addition to producing sharp images, there are other features that make the 7artisans Photoelectric 50mm f0.95 lens worth a look. Color and contrast are great. Flare wasn’t an issue for me under normal shooting conditions, so the fact that a lens hood was not included, is okay. There is some vignetting at wide open aperture but this is pretty much a given, and nothing out of the ordinary. The vignetting is actually kind of nice to be honest, and goes with the ultra thin depth of field look but if you’re not a fan, stopping down just one stop does reduce it significantly. Overall, this is a quality lens, in my opinion, and one that I think is comparable in terms of image quality to what is coming out from Fujifilm lenses. This is important, especially if you already own Fujifilm lenses, and want your images to match in terms of workflow. Here are 2 sample images to show difference between f0.95 to f1.4, at 1.5m subject distance (ie portrait distance) Excellents résultats en vidéo point de vue piqué, douceur du flou d’arrière plan et rendu des couleurs I actually was thinking about an article on remote shooting but I don’t think I have enough knowledge to write one haha. I just turn on Zoom haha. Still, maybe I can think of something :). IMO, For the value, it is wonderful, and it is a greater amount of an imaginative focal point, permitting you to explore different avenues regarding shading cast and focal point flare since sharpness and smooth bokeh are available—no think twice about picture quality.

Flou d’arrière pan très doux donnant des portraits uniques et une très belle atmosphère!re pour les photos de details d’objets et léger On the extremely rare occasions when I need the 35mm focal length on my Fuji X camera, I do one of the following: Let’s talk a bit about the image quality now. Again, I still can’t get over the price of the 35mm f0.95 because in addition to the excellent build, the image quality has been very impressive so far. It’s very sharp, and this includes images that are taken at f0.95. The color and contrast rendering are great. Yes, it’s a lens with a max aperture of f0.95, and you should definitely use it at that setting because what would be the point in even getting an f0.95 lens but I’m happy to report that it can produce great results stopped down as well. This along with its size and weight means you don’t necessarily need a smaller aperture 35mm lens in addition to this one. The 7artisans Photoelectric 35mm f0.95 Lens can literally serve as your “go-to” 35mm lens for pretty much everything, which means it is quite versatile. Now, the f/0.95 on the APS-C will give you a depth of field close to that of an f/1.4 lens on a 35mm full frame camera. So handling this lens will not be any harder in terms of nailing focus than using said 1.4 lens. But it does have a huge advantage over the f/1.4 lenses…
