Maybe dig my camera out and start doing photography as a hobby again, for the sake of it, rather than for likes on Instagram or Flickr. On the fish, the equipment, the food, and the locations, Gone Fishing is the perfect read for fans of the duo and for anyone who wants to enjoy a brilliantly written and endlessly funny joint memoir on life, friendship and joys of fishing.

If you are in Australia or New Zealand (DVD Region 4), note that almost all DVDs distributed in the UK by the BBC and 2entertain are encoded for both Region 2 and Region 4. It felt as though Bob and Paul had been asked to include it to secure the tie-in with the programme, but I don’t think it was necessary.
