It is an absolutely beautiful heartwarming story about a girl who hasnt ever met her dad and it is a race for her to find out who her dad is however on the other side of the country is his present wife who is trying to keep him and the Kids away…. From that moment I actually thought Lauren had gone mad and snapped, she tried to put them in the river! We collaborate with authors across all adult fiction genres, and also handle children’s books, young adult and cross-over fiction.I’m not usually a fan of stories that blur the line between supernatural and psychotic – is there really something otherworldly going on, or is the main character just crazy? Even if you think yourself a factual person, Little Darlings will force you to entertain what’s laughably superstitious yet, in light of the evidence popping up and the deep conviction of the mother, unsettlingly possible. Riveting, terrifying and at times heart-breaking, Little Darlings had me tip-toeing through my dark house at night to check on the children.

Anyway h*gwarts houses are boring and overdone and tell you nothing about a person your true test of character is if you related to Destiny or Sunset more as a kid. At just 11 years old she feels more like the parent and has to plead with her mother, Kate, to seek help for her deteriorating condition. I blinked twice and my mum yanked it out of my hand, it seemed like I was so interested I wasn't even blinking "Snap out of it, girl" mum would say, 'Alright, Alright.The written word isn’t like the movies; without any physical images, it falls to great writing and a very talented author to generate the same kind of visuals in my mind. Similarly, Detective Harper's challenge to pursue her gut instincts that contradict her boss's rules and plans makes her another compelling character that I appreciated following. I truly love this book and would recommend it to anyone who loves an exciting, dramatic and a bit of a sad book!
