About this deal

There’s a black stabilizer option that can be adjusted to allow you to more clearly see into the shadows in games, several on-screen crosshairs to choose from, and an FPS counter that can bypass any overlay restrictions a game may apply. This stunning LG 48" gaming monitor has a UHD 4K display, that has exceptional speed and is equipped with AMD FreeSync technology. Dynamic Action Sync mode allows you to see the action as it occurs in real time so that you can react immediately rather than respond after the delay of internal frame processing. While it’s certainly no slouch in gaming performance, the monitor is surprisingly good when used for productivity. It’s also quite far behind the Alienware AW3423DW, which like the Ultragear has an OLED panel (albeit a much different implementation).

Ein Asus PG48UQ kostet einige hundert Euro mehr und ich wüsste nicht, was der besser machen sollte und der LG sieht zudem deutlich schicker und unaufälliger aus. This includes four gamma plus and seven color temperature modes, though none promise to target a particular gamma curve or color temperature. All missing parts and accessories will be detailed in the product listing, but original bundled software is not guaranteed. The monitor is ultimately best in a room with windows that can at least partially block sunlight and no harsh overhead lights. The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ and the LG 48GQ900-B are both OLED monitors with different screen sizes and have many similarities. PC users won’t have trouble making full use of high refresh rates, but console games often render at just 60fps (or lower).

Thanks to its OLED panel, the LG 48GQ900-B has perfect black uniformity, as any pixel that's displaying black is turned off. Information about the maximum vertical viewing angle, within which the image on the screen is of acceptable quality. It has a fantastic SDR color gamut and a remarkably wide color gamut in HDR, as well as superb gradient handling, so you don't have to worry about banding or loss of fine details. It has a multifunction power button along the bottom edge that can be held and tapped to navigate the menu, but LG has also included a unique remote control that doubles as a volume knob when the OSD is closed.LG’s C2 OLED offers a game mode which gets around this, but the Ultragear 48GQ900-B doesn’t need that. Between the extra screen real estate and pre-calibration, content creators should find a lot to enjoy. It’s a display that has incredible strengths, such as its HDR performance and motion clarity, and obvious weaknesses, like out-of-box color problems and low SDR brightness.
