About this deal

His world’s leaders signed a peace treaty with Xandar to stop a centuries old war, but Ronan acts on his own. Here with this feature we get an extra look behind-the-scenes of actors doing their voices for the characters in the film, plus the other actors talking about their part in the fil, as well as seeing how the CGI effects were done, especially focusing on bringing the digital characters to life, one gets a sense of how much work went on behind-the-scenes. If you are still bewildered how a movie could have a talking raccoon and a walking tree as superheroes, I guarantee if you give them a chance, you’ll fall in love with them as I did. T’o further complicate matters, Ronan (Lee Pace) also wants the orb so that he can wield its power and will allow him to defeat the ultimate badass, Thanos. A killer soundtrack, a fantastic script, and a bunch of unlikely teammates forged together against a common foe.

For the week that ended on August 19th, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Fast X remained atop both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts. Now don’t get me wrong, he’s so super powerful that he can pick Drax up by the neck with one hand, but he’s got zero personality. Still, the salvo of extras on the accompanying Blu-ray are decent enough, and certainly tick all the bases for a solid enough set - Commentary, Featurettes, Deleted Scenes, Check. This piece is all about the character of Rocket Raccoon, from James Gunn’s love for the character and who the thinks he is, the appreciation of Sean Gunn’s physical performance in the trilogy and how Bradley Cooper fit all the things Gunn was looking for in the vocal performance. Is this movie one the best Marvel superhero flicks ever or is this just a dumb sci fi spectacle featuring a bunch of A-holes?Special Effects too are highly detailed, with fully CGI characters Groot and Rocket coming to life in an almost photo realistic way. And even their Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special was marginally lightweight and inconsequential, arguably at a time when we just needed something better from the flailing MCU. Not much more here than what we already know, but it is okay and definitely aimed at the MARVEL nerdy fans who will drool over it. First it was the Phase I movies that lead up to The Avengers, one of the greatest superhero movies of all time.

Peter Quill rallies his unlikely team to embark on a dicey, action-packed mission to protect one of their own. No matter of this space opera, the rest of us can just sit back and enjoy the ride, as the film ricochets from one dazzling, frazzling action set-piece to the next, pausing only to charm our socks off with another pithy retort, classic bubble-gum-pop hit or cutely random alien character. It's no surprise really to find it's one of the MCU's most discretely standalone productions in years. Having a strong creator like James Gunn behind the helm really stands out among the pack, giving us a film that never once feels of the assembly line franchise picture motif these MCU movie constantly get labeled as.

Extras: Language(s): English, Italian, Spanish, Hard of Hearing Subtitles: English, Subtitles: Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Italian, Norwegian, Spanish, Swedish, Interactive Menu, Dolby Atmos 7. Not as perfected as the first entry, it was still a whole lot of fun-and-tunes mayhem with this lovable crew, whose subsequent involvement in the Infinity War / Endgame team-up was welcome, and whose teased spin-off with Thor, loosely nicknamed " Asgardians of the Galaxy", would unfortunately lead to a nothing more than disappointing cameo at the start of a generally quite disappointing Thor: Love and Thunder. In the Chewbacca role, we have Groot (Vin Diesel), a tree-like alien who can talk, but only the words "I am Groot" in slightly different tonal inflections to convey emotion. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with an uneasy truce with a quarter of disparate misfits - Rocket, a gun-toting racoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer.
