Now I am looking at a direct drive kit, I would like to convert my ender 3 to direct drive and preferably together with an all metal hotend, so I can print flexibel materials and materials needing a higher temp then just PLA. I only replaced my Ender 5 Pro's bowden extruder with this one to achieve tight retractions and benefits of the like.I went back and tightened the belts, the eccentric nuts, re-leveled the bed, changed the nozzle, reset the Z probe offset, and finally got some decent prints. We recommend you can purchase multiple filaments together when purchasing the printer, which is convenient for future operation. A direct drive 3D printer extruder is distinctive for its placement of the extruder motor directly on top of the hot end. There is a tiny bit of tubing between the extruder and the hot end, and I could see this as possibly being a pain to work with in the event of a serious clog or the tubing should wear out.

The difference in quality between the NG and a BIQU h2 is enormous especially when it comes to installing. Octo print, bl touch, 32bit mainboard, PEI bed, Capricorn tubing and ofcourse loads of printable upgrades.I had a difficult thin section part to print on my standard CR10S machine and it failed several times despite my best efforts, so, I thought this is a good time to cut my losses and fit the MicroSwiss Extruder.
