About this deal

My daughter immediately identified these as “beer that daddy loves to drink”, which probably tells you a bit too much about my choice of beverages. Overall, there is quite a lot of value despite the set having only 404 parts - value in the parts, and importantly, lots and lots of play value.

I’m not sure if it’s an entirely new sign, or if it’s a reproduction of the one from 1999’s Road Signs set, but it’s always nice to come across printed parts. Approaching with the forklift, a crate can be slotted through the yellow and black striped technic parts which do a fantastic job emulating one of those ubiquitous plastic-strip barriers between spaces. Be sure to also check out this feature I wrote on why LEGO’s new minifigure with the prosthetic leg is so important for representation. What's more, the road plate has some actual use here as the parking lot and loading area, and isn't tacked on for no other reason than to be a road plate. The LEGO City theme is based on city life with the sets depicting city and emergency services, police, fire, airport, train, construction, and civilian services.

Here’s a look at a selection of famous LEGO minifigures with prosthetic legs, just to illustrate how unique the modern prosthesis looks like. Despite rapid urbanisation, LEGO City has been plagued by crime and arson, with little room for anything else. Without actually having the Friends set, I'd agree that the interior of the Friends set is definitely way better - more shelves, actual refrigerators, a better checkout. There is one thing I noticed regarding the ASDA Stickers, they aren’t official LEGO ones, meaning they lacked the small trademark print along the bottom. That said, the large variety of produce, sustainable elements like solar panels, and bottle recycling station, and the inclusion of the very first LEGO minifigure with a modern prosthetic leg make for a toy that is not only fun to play with, but educational as well. Fun fact, this is the very first LEGO prosthetic leg that’s a left leg – all previous prosthesis, from peg legs, to mechanical legs on Doctor Rodney Rathbone from Monster Fighters. The recycled bottles go into this crate on the other side of the deposit machine, and the crate can also be transported via the forklift when filled up.

com An in-depth review of the LEGO Dune Ornithopter featuring working wing functions and a great minifig lineup including LEGO Baron Harkonnen! If I were being picky the trolley itself a tad too big compared to a Minifigure, it’s almost head height. Brickset, the Brickset logo and all content not covered by The LEGO Group's copyright is, unless otherwise stated, ©1997-2024 Brickset ltd. This is great and I’m so happy LEGO have decided to include and expand upon the diversity of people, it should be done more! The breaks between bags seem rather random, and it felt like I was adding a few parts over here and then over there and then back over here.
