About this deal

I would have prefer to give the review after about 6months of use because by that time one should be able to tell if durability applies.

It’s also easy to empty and has a built-in ioniser and HEPA filter, to make sure that it pumps out fresh, clean air. The tank capacity should match up to the space you’re using it in, and the scale of the damp you’re dealing with. Also, it features remarkable features such as overflow hose pipe for continuous flow, 24-hour time for easy control, and castor wheel for portability, making it ideal for large homes and offices. I’m currently emptying the water tank twice daily, that’s 5 Litres of condensation going down the sink rather than in the air. While this is bigger than most tanks, we would have liked a 6 litre tank considering the high maximum extraction rate.

Normally, the device starts with the factory setting mode of 55% humidity but you can set to as low as 35%. Sleek, compact and complete with smart connectivity, this dehumidifier can remove up to 20l of water per day from your home.

Have been having a LOT of trouble with condensation/damp during these colder months in my apartment. Another point to note is that it has a washable filter that will need to be cleaned often to make sure that the dehumidifier stays efficient. So, a dehumidifier is the answer, these appliances can eradicate moisture in the air and produce a comfortable humidity range, especially for people with Asthma. We don't really get involved in medical inquiries here but removing humidty from a property is generally considered beneficial for everyone's health, partcularly the respiratory system.Looks great, very quiet (we have it on just outside our bedroom with the door open and can sleep no probs). Then, if the model allows, set your chosen humidity target – when it comes to inside the home, it’s generally recommended humidity levels be no higher than 60 per cent. Finally, we were impressed with the nano silver filter built into the design, which will help trap dust and allergens.

It's a refrigerant (compressor) dehumidifier with a built-in humidistat, digital display and a 24 hour timer. We should also point out that this dehumidifier is loud, and you can’t reduce the noise by switching to a lower fan speed.Other features include an air purification system (including plasma ioniser), two fan speeds, built-in castors, 1-24 hour timer, an energy efficient design and a digital humidistat showing the current temperature and humidity. So, if you suffer from allergies or conditions such as asthma, this is the perfect solution, as the air will feel a lot fresher.

We also didn’t find it that much help with drying clothes, although it did a good job of managing general damp and reducing condensation and mould on windows and walls. My property is a standard 2 bed house, with recent double-glazed windows, which are very efficient for keeping the cold winter weather out. It also comes in a choice of three colours – blue, pink and black – so, whatever your decor, it should blend in effortlessly. A traffic light system delivers a clear indication of the humidity level in your room by showing red for high, amber for comfortable and green for low or dry.

There’s also a safety feature designed into the lid, so children’s fingers won’t get caught if they investigate it. But as there are so many different models on the market, it can be difficult to decide which is the best one for your needs. We really loved the setting that can help dry paint and plaster, so, if you’re about to embark on some DIY, this is the dehumidifier for you.
