Scent Potency / Appropriate for: Moderate potency – suitable for office, school, date, day or night, any season, signature scent I love it, all sentimental feelings aside I just love it so much. Over the years my collection has grown so I don't wear it as often as I used go but every time I do wear it I keep saying to myself damn this stuff is unreal I should wear it more often. Revisiting this fragrance as it stayed from long time in my want list: another good example of the fact that over the years the sense of smell, if you train it properly, will grow with your experience. As a result I don't want it anymore cause now it's reminding me of other things I have or disliked. I bought a vintage bottle of this fragrance and wow, this is strong! The initial spray is almost like a cross between the soft sweet red pepper you get in a can of sweetcorn and a properly hot red chilli, sliced and smelt freshly cut. It's slightly sweet, but hot too. There's something bitter and green, maybe the oakmoss but here it's not soapy, just dry. There's then indistinct woodiness and florals for me. I would not have pinned the woods on cedar. The florals are watery and a light, there's also some powdery fruitiness but in my vintage fragrance it's indistinct, it could be peach. As it dries, the pepper calms down massively and it gets softer and more gently woody and lightly floral.

I'm agreeing with the unisex vibe some previous reviewers mentioned. The versatility of Burberry Touch for Men is likely one of the key reasons that this cologne has endured as a staple in any man’s cologne collection since 2000. It works well either day or night and as far as seasons go, this fragrance works year ‘round. Burberry Touch EDT is OK, a very light, ozonic violet leaf, white musk, spicy white pepper, sweet tonka, and woody cedar fragrance. I wanted to wear Touch to a friend's dinner party, but I just couldn't. I zealously applied it to my skin when I got home and was met with a pungent lemongrass odor. Like many people, I think Touch resembles baby powder, but the lemongrass took me by surprise because it's not listed as one of the notes. Lemongrass is often used in Asian cooking, so I don't usually have a problem with it. I think the issue here is my skin. I bought Touch without first spraying it on my body. I know it's a silly mistake, but I'm still a newbie at this. I will probably make a few blunders every now and then. This was one of the first scents I ever acquired and is still one of my favorites. It is a class act. Inoffensive, can be worn any time of year, although I would say its more of a day time scent. And for me it lasts pretty much all day. Not what I was expecting. I've seen this on so many "versatile" lists on YouTube put up right beside fragrances such as YSL Y, Sauvage, Versace Pour Homme, Dior Homme 2020, ect. Now I wasn't expecting some "blue fragrance" or "compliment bomb", but I did kind of expect somewhat of a cross between Versace Pour Homme and Dior Homme 2020. It's a pretty interesting unisex-leaning fragrance for me. Nothing amazing about the scent, but somehow it seriously feels like it *glides* through my nose when I smell it. O WOW am I loving this one! I loved it on first sniff. It is a unique blend of berry and floral which to me each note is not discernible, however, it is so well blended that the best I can describe this fragrance is a tangy floral with sweet, musky woody undertones. Very persistent fragrance on clothing and a bit less so on my skin but it still lasts on me a good 6 plus hours. A warm cozy scent perfect for literally any informal occasion as well as any business situation. Totally inoffensive yet perfectly unique and lovely.
